5k done! 10k next!

I know this is really late but life got in the way.  I have been really busy with work and fitting my workouts in and still giving Rosalie all the usual attention.  I will work to make time for this though!

Since the last post:

Rosalie and I finished out Furry 5k! We finished in 40:22 with a couple of potty breaks but we ran the whole time other than that!  I was so proud of Rosalie!  She was very well behaved and was still pulling my by the end helping me to keep it moving!  Now that I have finished this goal, my next goal is a 10k!

I am using the 5k to 10k app and I am already on week 3 day 3. Next workout is a 40 minute steady run. I'm excited and scared!

Weight update:

I am struggling to lose right now!  I've had some ups and downs.  Thursday at work we have a spring luncheon that did not help.  It is so hard to watch what you are eating when there are so many options!  I am at 187 right now.  My goal is to be down to 170 by Memorial day weekend.  Why that weekend?  Wedding dress shopping!

Dietbet update:

I did not end up winning the last dietbet.  Again I waited until the last minute and my body fought me to lose those last couple pounds.  ugh. It hurt to know that I lose another dietbet.  Right now I am still doing the Jillian Michael dietbet and I have 10 days to lose 5.8 lbs!  ugh.  I am doing it to myself again!  I am still pushing everyday though.  I am tracking my food and trying to keep active!

Fitbit update:

Here are my updates from the past two weeks.  I'm getting back on track!  The first week I did great and the second week I slacked but I am back on top this week and can't wait to share my stats!

Other news:

I started a new workout for my off days from running.  Rowing!  Wow, these rowing classes kick my butt!  The class isn't just rowing though.  You row and get your heart rate up and then get off the machine and do squats, or situps, or bicep curls, etc.  Its great to interact with people and to have the instructor yelling at you to keep it up and to push through.  I am really enjoying it and hoping it helps me whip these arms and shoulders into wedding shape since they have been taking a back seat while I have been training for my runs.
